ART Grand Prix and George Russell won in Monza . George Russell took his fifth victory of the season in FIA F2 Race 2 at Monza – the sixth win for the team this year. . English driver also claimed his fourth pole position in 2018. . After some bad luck, Jack Aitken back in the points in Race 2: started 17th, he took the flag in eighth. . Russell has extended his general leadership over Norris by 22 points. . ️ Despite an eventful weekend in GP3, ART Grand Prix collected three podium finishes. . ⛈️ Weather conditions affected the schedule, with FP reduced to 10 mins just before the qualifying session in the afternoon: however, ART secured a front row start with Anthoine Hubert. . In a wet Race 1, the squad placed two drivers on the podium with Anthoine Hubert second and Callum Ilott third – ninth and seventh time on the rostrum respectively. Two pilots closed in the points as Nikita Mazepin was fifth and Jake Hughes ninth. . In Race 2, Callum Ilott crossed the line in third place, Anthoine Hubert in fourth ahead of Nikita Mazepin fifth (fastest lap) and Jake Hughes in sixth. Post-race scrutineering determined that Callum Ilott and Anthoine Hubert were both in breach of the official tyre pressure limits: both drivers have been excluded from the final race results. As such, Nikita Mazepin has achieved his sixth podium finish, Jake Hughes has promoted into fourth position. . Hubert leads the championship with 176 points, Nikita Mazepin is now second on 147 tied on points with Callum Ilott third (Nikita won more races) and Jake Hughes moved up to eight with 61.
