Nobuharu Matsushita (and ART) were back fighting at the front just a few days after a huge accident during Spa Sprint Race: the Japanese ace grabbed pole position, then third place in the Feature Race and an additional two points on Sunday.

Louis Delétraz recorded his best F2 race weekend to date with P3 in qualifying, seventh in the Feature Race and fourth in the Sprint Race on one of his favourite tracks.

Fresh from his maiden sprint win in Spa, Sérgio Sette Câmara recovered from a disappointing P12 in qualifying to classify P6 in the Feature Race before grabbing another podium finish on Sunday with second on the line at the Autodromo di Monza.

Title contenders Charles Leclerc and Oliver Rowland had a tough time in Monza: both recorded their worst qualifying result to date with P7 for the Monegasque driver and P13 for the Briton. On their way to a podium finish on Saturday, Leclerc was pushed off track on the final lap to cross the line in P17 whilst Rowland lost a wheel after his pitstop. Neither of them scored points on Sunday either.
